I am very excited to be part of the Westchester Warriors Girls’ Lacrosse Program! When I was a middle school student, I developed a passion for lacrosse. I played for my high school and college, Yorktown High School and Manhattanville College respectively. I was an All-Section player on my high school team where we were NYS champions from 1996 – 1998. We played for the love of the game and were not expecting to earn this title in 1996 as we were the underdogs at the time! My team consisted of players, like myself, who were all driven, highly motivated, hard working and very determined student athletes. I possessed the same qualities as a college player and it is there that I achieved personal athletic success. I was not expecting to lead the nation in points and goals per game in Division III lacrosse but I did in 1999. The following year I led the nation in points per game in Division III lacrosse. I was the Female Athlete of the Year at Manhattanville College in 1999 and I was captain of the team my junior and senior years. In 2000 and 2001, I received the title All American with Honors. I was recognized in the 2000 NCAA Leadership Conferences and I was on the 2001 IWLCA Division III Academic Squad. I earned Two Time ECAC Division III Women’s Lacrosse Rookie and Player of the Week.

Once I graduated college, I began working as a special education teacher and coaching right away. I coached high school lacrosse on various levels at Harrison, Horace Greeley and Yorktown. I have also coached many club teams and clinics. I am proud to return to my alma mater in the fall of 2018 where I will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

I am very excited to be a part of the Westchester Warrior Girls’ Lacrosse program! I developed a love for lacrosse at a very young age growing up in Yorktown, New York. I played 4 years of Varsity Lacrosse and was a part of the 2006 New York State Championship Lacrosse team! At Yorktown I was a leading scorer and was an all Section Player all 4 years. I played D1 lacrosse at Hofstra University before transferring to Binghamton University. I work at Pleasantville Middle School as the Physical Education teacher and have my Masters in Physical Education as well as Childhood Education from Canisius College. I have been coaching the Modified Girls Lacrosse team for 3 years and love this level. I believe in instilling a love for lacrosse at a young age and focus on skills work. “Play wall ball and work on your left hand!”

I started playing lacrosse when I was 9 years old and instantly fell in love with the game.  I played for Somers in town and several travel programs in the area.  I was a member of the Somers Varsity lacrosse team as a Sophomore and went on to become Captain my Senior year of high school. In 2011, I was recognized as an All League Honorable Mention. I then went on to play at the State University of New York at Cortland where I was team captain my Senior year.

I am currently a kindergarten teacher in Tarrytown and enjoy running camps and clinics in the area to help develop and share in the same love of the game of lacrosse that I have with others.  I am excited to work with Westchester Warriors and the other coaches to help bring a high caliber training to young girls that want to improve.
