Nick Savastano is the Co-Founder of Westchester Warriors Lacrosse. He has also been a Physical Education teacher for the Katonah Lewisboro School District for 27 years. Kennedy Catholic won the Class A State Championship for the Catholic League in both 2015 and 2018. Nick is a graduate of Springfield College where he was an All-American midfielder for the 1994 Division II National Champion team. He played lacrosse at Lakeland High School and was a midfielder for the 1989 Empire State Games Hudson Valley lacrosse team.
Coach Savastano’s past coaching experience includes coaching the John Jay Men’s Varsity Lacrosse team for 10 years. At John Jay, his team won 4 sectional titles in both Class A and Class B. He was named Section 1 Coach of the Year in 2006. He compiled a career mark of 148-56 at John Jay. He led one of the arguably best teams ever in Section 1 with his 2007 squad that went 21-3, won a sectional crown, and went on to beat the highest ranked team in the nation, Huntington, Long Island. He broke their 63-game winning streak by beating them 11-10 in double overtime. This sent his team to the first ever John Jay state championship game. Coach Savastano produced 15 All American players in those 10 years.

Vin Savastano is the Co-Founder of Westchester Warriors Lacrosse. He has also been a Physical Education teacher in the Brewster School District for 33 years. He is currently the Head Coach of Kennedy Catholic High School Men’s Varsity Lacrosse team. Kennedy Catholic won the Class A State Championship for the Catholic League in both 2015 and 2018. Vin holds A MS from Pace University, a BS from Springfield College and went to Lakeland High School.
Vin has well over 300 wins as a Varsity Lacrosse Coach. He has extensive experience coaching at the Varsity level. He started the lacrosse program at Hendrick Hudson High School where he was the Varsity Men’s Lacrosse Coach for 9 years. He was voted Coach of the Year three times while leading that team. From there he was an assistant coach at Brewster High School for 3 years serving as both offensive and defensive coordinators. In 1999, Brewster reacher the state semifinals and in 2000 they were Sectional Champions. At that point, Vin took over as the head coach for two years at Greenwich High School in Connecticut and led his team to the semifinals. Following that, he joined his brother Nick as the defensive coordinator at John Jay High School. He helped the team reach a 105-28 record and 6 straight Sectional finals where they won four in a row. In 2007, he was key in helping John Jay beat the undefeated Huntington, Long Island team to make it to the State Championship game. In addition, Vin coached the Empire State Games team for ten years. In 2006, Vin was named Section I Assistant Coach of the Year. Besides coaching lacrosse, Vin coached Varsity football from 1989-1996 for programs at both Hendrick Hudson and Brewster High Schools. His Brewster teams were Sectional Champs four times, Regional Champs three times, State Semifinalists two times and competed twice in the State Championship finals. He is also the Women’s Gymnastics Coach for Brewster High School.

Kim Cunningham played lacrosse at Mahopac High School. She went on to play lacrosse at a division 2 school  at St. Thomas Aquinas College. Kim became the Mahopac Varsity Assistant Coach for 4 years. She then went on to coach the K/1/2 team at Mahopac, the 7/8th grade team at Somers and the HS team on Westchester Warriors for many years. She has a love for the game, building character and lacrosse IQ on the lacrosse field.
